R. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto ......................................And She conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Ave Maria, gratia plena; Dominus tectum:......................Hail Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with Thee:
benedicta tu in mulieribus, et Benedictus........................blessed art thou among women, and blessed is
fructus ventris tui Iesus.* Sancta Maria, ..........................the fruit of thy womb Jesus.* Holy Mary,
Mater Dei ora pro nobis peccatoribus,..............................Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen. .............................and at the hour of our death. Amen

V. Ecce ancilla Domini...................................................... Behold the handmaid of the Lord,
